Rachel Hendron

I am a Coordinator-in-Training and an Accredited Psychotherapist and Supervisor and have lived in many places and travelled extensively.

I am reducing my therapy practice while studying the Master of Fine Art Programme at Ulster University for the next two years as well as taking classes in TAE with Evelyn Fender Lee and continuing to develop my understanding of Gendlin's Philosophy with Robert Parker.

I offer Being Focusing Together groups through TIFI online and available to all members for free where we experiment with being at the edge of our awareness and speaking from Focusing Process while being part together as part of the Group Process. I am hoping to find ways of offering opportunities to bring attention to the felt sensing of experience through art and movement which can then be explicated through Gendlin's Philosophy.
While this sounds complicated in words, I think this can be felt clearly and simply as breathing and help Focusers who want to understand how Focusing happens and feel more able to play and experiment in it.

My background is in studying Education to make sense of my formative experiences and in being a special needs and Montessori teacher where complicated activities are broken down into smaller invitations for learners to make their own meaning of and this approach informs how I understand Focusing, Psychotherapy and my own learning and art process. I have been studying Amerta movement with Sandra Reeves, Focusing with Charlotte Howorth and Lynn Preston, Brainspotting, Deep Brain Reprocessing, weaving, basket making, pigment making and Earth honouring ritual processes with Ally Stott before moving very recently to Belfast.
